Tasks
|
|
Description of the tasks - Analyzing line efficiency and line waste:
- Measure how well a production line or process is performing in terms of generating output compared to its maximum potential output.
- How the organisation can reach optimal production operation and indicate any areas for improvement, taking into factors that impact line efficiency including equipment downtime, product defects, changeovers, etc.
- Identify any unnecessary or non-value-adding elements within the production process that contribute to line waste. E.G. Inventory and Defects.
- Identify and categorise waste
- Conduct waste audits
- Suggest strategies that can assess and adjust waste reduction according to waste categories
- Ensure product quality, quantity, and consistency (calibration)
- Assess and in Inventory management
- implement processes that target accuracy
