Tasks

Description of the tasks

  • Analyzing line efficiency and line waste:
  • Measure how well a production line or process is performing in terms of generating output compared to its maximum potential output.
  • How the organisation can reach optimal production operation and indicate any areas for improvement, taking into factors that impact line efficiency including equipment downtime, product defects, changeovers, etc.
  • Identify any unnecessary or non-value-adding elements within the production process that contribute to line waste. E.G. Inventory and Defects.
  • Identify and categorise waste
  • Conduct waste audits
  • Suggest strategies that can assess and adjust waste reduction according to waste categories
  • Ensure product quality, quantity, and consistency (calibration)
  • Assess and in Inventory management
  • implement processes that target accuracy
