Internship Summary |
| Fantastic opportunity - The aim of the position is to assist the Director in sales and production. The general split of activities is: 70% Sales and 30% production/post production work. |
Tasks |
|
Sales: • Attend consultations with Director to discuss and ascertain the client's requirements – take notes of consultation to assist in final design • Assist in taking precise measurements and recording measurements for design and quoting • Illustrate and develop the concept design • Complete final drawings for the customer as part of the presentation for quotation Production: • Design and draw components for suppliers to manufacture as required • Assist in sourcing materials for manufacture • Assist in liaising with suppliers regarding progress of orders and delivery of goods General Tasks: • Attend and participate in weekly Staff Meetings • Learn and understand company structure • During busy periods, you may be required to assist onsite or to do deliveries/pick-ups of goods. These tasks that are outside of the office internship will be renumerated (paid). |
